Policy

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

A 50 % non-refundable deposit is required to reserve rental/ service for your requested/ proposed date and time. The deposit will be applied to the total amount due. The final payment is required (5) business days prior to the event date. Rentals/ services will not be confirmed or formally scheduled without a deposit and a signed agreement. Exceptions can be made at our discretion.

CANCELLATIONS

There are absolutely no cash refunds. 

Should you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and/ or harsh weather conditions, you will be issued a credit to be used towards a JPE rental or service based on availability. Please note that a credit will not be issued for cancellations made on the day of the event or for custom/ personalized items.

DELIVERY

Please be advised that delivery fees are not included in rental pricing. The delivery fee is dependent on location and does not include set and strike. Set and strike is optional. Deliveries begin at 9:00 am and pickups end at 12:00 am unless otherwise stipulated. There will be an additional service charge for deliveries and / or pickups outside of this timeframe.

Additional charges may also apply for extraordinary deliveries (i.e tolls, building accessibility, stairs, additional staffing for large/ bulk rentals, distance from parking lot, access to parking etc.) 

Please contact us for an estimate on extraordinary deliveries and/ or if you require a delivery or pickup outside the stipulated time.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY (Rentals)

Clients assume full responsibility for rental items from the time of delivery to the time of pickup. Clients are responsible for the entire replacement/ repair cost for lost or damaged items during the rental period. Rental items must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered.  If you are hiring another vendor that is providing the same or similar rental item/s, please ensure that our inventory is not swaped. Damaged or stained items are subject to a repair or replacement fee. In the event that an item is damaged or missing including but not limited to;

  • Damages sustained by gross negligence by event attendees or staff other than those employed by J.P.E
  • Moving rental/s that are to be stationary 
  •  Damages caused by rain, hail, extreme wind or heat. 

The client agrees to pay for all repair or replacement costs, up to the full value of the missing or damaged item/s, including shipping and import duties. A thorough assessment will be made upon picking up rental items. If a rental is found to be damaged or missing, J.P.E will notify the client and provide a documented damage/loss report with associated repair/ replacement costs within (5) business days after the event. The client must compensate J.P.E for the damage or loss within (30) days upon receipt of the damage/ loss report. Failure to do so may result in the pursuit of legal action.
